Matt Heisler

Matt Heisler is a Jesus follower, storyteller, and problem-solver. He grew up with a classical education and continued his studies at Biola University, earning a degree in film production. His career spans a spectrum of industries, from digital product management to creating video content for nonprofits like the A21 Campaign, as well as, working for companies like RED Digital Cinema and Apple. Matt loves blending creativity with strategy, always striving to make a positive impact through his work.

When he’s not diving into projects, Matt enjoys running, traveling, photography, and enjoying his wife’s cooking. He and Shelby are new parents to a beautiful daughter who has redefined adventure for them. Whether at work or home, Matt is always looking to hear the next great story and connect with people.

Dr. Kara E. Powell

Kara Powell, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Fuller Youth Institute (FYI), the founder of the TENx10 Collaboration, and the Chief of Leadership Formation at Fuller Theological Seminary. Named by Christianity Today as one of “50 Women to Watch”, Kara serves as a Youth and Family Strategist for Orange, and also speaks regularly at national parenting and leadership conferences.

Kara is the author or co-author of a number of books including Faith Beyond Youth Group, 3 Big Questions that Change Every Teenager, Faith in an Anxious World, Growing With, Growing Young, The Sticky Faith Guide for Your Family, Sticky Faith Curriculum, Can I Ask That?, Deep Justice Journeys, Essential Leadership, Deep Justice in a Broken World, Deep Ministry in a Shallow World, and the Good Sex Youth Ministry Curriculum.

NorthEast of the Well meets people in their “before;” before they are sober, before they are healed, and before they know Christ. When the lost and hurting experience Jesus’ love for the first time, their hearts are transformed. However, transformation takes time. That’s why they also stay with people in their “after.” Recovery is a process that can only happen in a community. As people leave the treatment programs and residential centers where they host Bible studies, they stay connected to the ministry through weekly gatherings and discipleship. NorthEast of the Well understands the need to be available to walk hand in hand with the community.

Ron Blue – Keynote Speaker

Ron Blue is the founder of the Ron Blue Institute established at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012. He has also been the founder and co-founder of several organizations to include Ronald Blue and Company, now Ronald Blue Trust; Kingdom Advisors (KA), a ministry that trains Christian financial professionals to integrate biblical wisdom into their client advice; and the National Christian Foundation (NCF) helps generous people create a biblically principled strategy that empowers Christians to be more faithful, generous, and full alive.

Ron is the author of more than twenty books on personal finance from a Biblical perspective. The Ron Blue Institute (RBI) serves Christian universities, churches, high schools, and financial professionals nationally and globally.  RBI is dedicated to multiplying Ron’s decades of professional experience and intellectual property through publications, curriculum development, courses, and consultation in multiple outlets worldwide.

Ron and his wife Judy have been married fifty-eight years. They have five adult children, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren and live in Bloomington, Indiana.
